My Pulpit

To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Matthew 25:15 (ESV)

We all have different callings in life. Yes, we were all called to preach the gospel in different ways. So, find your ministry and be faithful to it. It can even be opening doors for others, standing on a stage ministering or trying to make the world a better place for the less privileged.

“If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets just as Michelangelo painted or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth would pause and say, ‘here lived a great sweeper who did his job well’”. – Martin Luther King Jnr.

The Bible summarises it perfectly in 1 Corinthians 10:31 – Well, whatever you do, whether you eat or drink, do it all for God’s glory.

You may never know. The little things you consider not worthy or ministry enough might be the opportunity God will use to save someone if you would avail yourself. (Matthew 5:16). For God so loved the world, He sent you! – Marshal Segal

What are you doing with the gifts and talents God gave you – investing them or burying them?

And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus – Colossians  3:17 (NLT)

The Gifts and Callings of God are without repentance and we are vessels of different graces and callings. However, we cannot achieve our purposes in life on a standalone basis, we need purpose driven connections who synchronizes with God’s mandate upon our lives.

The focus is not quantity or magnitude of your gift or calling however, embracing your calling purposefully and delivering excellence beyond the grave.

Kindly note that, the Servant with five talents multiplied it in getting 5 more and the same applied to the servant with two talents. At the end, all delivered 100% productivity.

Your relevance in life is tagged with your ability to multiple the unique talent given you by God; It’s Your Brand. The Servant with the One talent refused to appreciate and embrace the uniqueness of his gift thereby burying it and ending up being unproductive and purposeless.

Special Appreciation to Akosua Kumi Nyarko for edifying me with her initial post, out of which I was inspired to add up and reblog.

What have we received in life that it was given from Above. To God be Glory Now and Forever.
